To permanently stop seeding in Transmission, simply go to “Edit” → “Preferences” and follow the instructions below.
This will make Transmission automatically stop seeding when it completes a download.

Disable Seeding in Transmission
To disable seeding in Transmission:
- Go to “Edit” → “Preferences”.
- Under the “Seeding” tab, check the checkbox ☑ “Stop seeding at ratio” and set the seeding ratio to zero.
This will disable seeding in your Transmission client.
