The elevated command prompt allows users to execute commands with administrative privileges.
By default, when opening the command line in Windows, you will not have full rights and not all commands will work.
In this short note i am showing the easiest and quickest way of how to run CMD
as administrator.
This method of opening the elevated command prompt works in Windows 7, Windows 10 and higher.

Administrator Command Prompt
To run CMD
as administrator do the following:
- Press ⊞ Win keybutton to open the start menu
- Type in
cmd
to search for the command prompt - Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run command prompt as administrator
